The boat transport began at Cap Sante Marina located at 1019 Q Ave. Anacortes, WA 98221. The marina is close to a variety of destinations such as a farmer’s market, a grocery store, restaurants, a dog park, and a disk golf course. They provide a variety of different moorage options including month-to-month, annual and liveaboard moorage. Their month-to-month and annual moorage are uncovered slips that range in size from 26 to 66 feet. For their liveaboard moorage, they have a maximum capacity of 100 liveaboard vessels at any one time and is for registered boats that have a length of 32 to 66 feet. Cap Sante Marina also offer 100 guest slips that can accommodate boats up to 130 feet. They have a trailer boat launch area that has a high speed monorail system with a capacity of 25,000 pounds. For boats larger than 26 feet, sling access is required. In addition, they also have a small boat hoist that have a maximum gross weight of the boat and trailer of 4,000 pounds and the hoist lifting capacity being 3,600 pounds maximum. Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding have 42 years of yachting experience. In 1978, the company started with just 8 employees. In 1980, they purchased “1 Water Street” and secured their first deep water frontage. Four years later, they purchased the upper yard from the bank. In 2005, Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding installed their 110-ton travel lift and five years later, formed an alliance with e Sailing Yachts. Their partnership began with 2 new builds. Then, most recently, they purchased the Wayfarer Marine in Camden, Maine. Throughout all of this, they have built and launched boats as well as have other large milestone which you can read more in depth here. They have two facilities, one in Thomaston, Maine (where this boat transport had went to for its final destination) and the other in Camden, Maine. Their Camden site is a full-service marina and yacht yard where they offer dockage, storage, moorings, and a 110-ton Travelift.
