Sea Ray 510 Boat Transport

Brief History of Sea Ray

Sea Ray was established in 1959 by Cornelius Ray in Oxford, Michigan. Sea Ray was one of the first brands in the US that utilized new technology like the use of fiber glass. The company originally began building boats up to 16 feet and with the employees comprising the entirety of the company. Ray contacted professionals in both modeling and design at General Motors and ultimately hired one to help with the interior design as well as the upholstery for his boats. Later in December of 1986, Ray sold the company to Brunswick Corporation. Throughout all this, Ray maintained special attention to the basics including building a quality vessel and providing customer service with a sincere appreciation for his clients.
