2006 Caliber 40 Marine Transport
About Caliber Yachts
Two brothers, George and Michael McCreary established Caliber Yachts in Clearwater, Florida back in 1980 when they just got out of college. Within a year, the Caliber 28 was first built. Soon, it was followed by the rest of the boats in the Caliber series, including the Caliber 40. While Michael focused on the design aspect of the boats, George focused on the business and marketing for Caliber Yachts.
The first Caliber 40 was built in 1992. A few years later, in 1995, the long range cruise (LRC) version of the Caliber 40 was first built.
