2000 Formula 382 Fastech Marine Transport
Brief History of Formula
Formula was founded in 1962 by Don Aronow in Miami, Florida. This was his first boat company and had built the original 233 deep-V hull design at his direction. A couple years later in 1964, Formula was purchased by Alliance Machine and Foundry. Then in 1969, Formula, alongside Thunderbird (a company that was also bought by Alliance) was purchased by Fuqua Industries. It was in 1976 that the current owners of Formula, Vic Porter and family, purchased both Formula and Thunderbird from Fuqua.
